WelcomeWelcome to the website for Forrest Badminton Club. Forrest is the largest club in the Bolton League famed for producing their own junior players. The club has received Premier Club Mark Accreditation with Badminton England to become the first club in Lancashire to achieve this award. We field seven teams in the Bolton League, two teams in the Whitefield League and one team in the Leigh League. As well as senior members, we have over 40 junior members. In addition to providing opportunities for competitive play, the club runs coaching sessions led by fully qualified coaches and organises various social events throughout the year. Latest News

Tell them what you think before Monday 20th September 2010 and you could win a pair of tickets for Finals Day at the Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships 2011 on Sunday 13th March 2011.

Please note that due to a tennis tournament taking place at Bolton Arena, the club night on Wednesday 25th August will take place at Horwich Leisure Centre, 8-10pm.
After this there are two remaining club nights on Wednesday 1st and Wednesday 8th September at Bolton Arena, 8-10pm.
If anyone has yet to complete a registration form it is imperative that you do so as teams will be selected this week. Please email completed forms to Kath by Tuesday evening at the latest. |

The Wigan Badminton Development Group will be hosting the 2010 Wigan Badminton Bonanza at Robin Park Indoor Sports Centre on 16th/17th October.
The tournament will be open to both league and social players, with competitions in Mens Singles, Ladies Singles, Mens Doubles, Ladies Doubles and Mixed Doubles. This year sees the introduction of a separate section with competitions for players under 14 and under 16.
Senior events will take place on Saturday 16th October 2010 and junior events on Sunday 17th October 2010.

Between 8th - 13th March 2011, the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham will, once again, be opening its doors to host the world's finest badminton players taking part in the YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships.

The last summer coaching sessions will take place next Friday (20th August).
Please note that due to a tennis tournament taking place at Bolton Arena, the sessions will run at Horwich Leisure Centre.

All members (new and old) are required to complete and submit the attached registration form ASAP if they wish to play in one of our teams in the forthcoming season. If you do not submit a form you will not be selected for a team!
